Opera Carmen premiered on the stage of the municipality of Cahul
In a memorable performance on March 5, the famous opera Carmen by Georges Bizet was performed in the city of Cahul.
The event took place as part of the “Mărțișor în toata țara” International Music Festival, bringing to the fore remarkable talents and passion for classical music.
On the large stage of the palace, the spectators had the privilege of being impressed by the performances of the opera Carmen, under the guidance of exceptional artists:
the Concertino Orchestra, together with the mezzo-soprano Ljubica Vranes from Serbia, the baritone Gheorghe Severin, the Academic Choral Chapel " Doina " led by Ilona Stepan and the Children's Choir of the National Opera and Ballet Theater "Maria Bieșu", under the guidance of Nicolae Jelescu.
The hall witnessed a particularly artistic moment, and the atmosphere was completed by the presence of a large and enthusiastic audience. As special guests at this event were representatives of the Goethe Institute and the EU4Culture project, thanks to which Cahul municipality bears the title of Cultural-Creative Capital of the Republic of Moldova.
