Opera Carmen premiered on the stage of the municipality of Cahul
In a memorable show held on March 5, the famous opera Carmen by Georges Bizet was performed in the municipality of Cahul.
The event took place as part of the International Music Festival "Mărțişor în allă țăra", bringing outstanding talents and the passion for classical music to the fore.
On the big stage of the palace, the spectators had the privilege of being impressed by the interpretations of the opera Carmen, under the guidance of some exceptional artists:
Doina Academic Choir led by Ilona Stepan and the Children's Choir of the National Theater of Opera and Ballet "Maria Bieșu", under the guidance of Nicolae Jelescu.
The hall witnessed a particularly artistic moment, and the atmosphere was completed by the presence of a large and enthusiastic audience. As special guests at this event were the representatives of the Goethe Institute and the EU4Culture project, thanks to which the municipality of Cahul holds the title of Cultural-Creative Capital of the Republic of Moldova.
