Between September 8-10, the city of Loutraki in Greece became the epicenter of an international freestyle wrestling competition that brought together talented athletes from Greece, Estonia, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Israel, Romania, Ukraine, and the Republic of Moldova.

Pro Team Cahul, proudly representing the Republic of Moldova, shone in this special competition. For two days full of thrilling fights, their athletes gave their best to achieve impressive results in five weight categories.

The results achieved by these talented fighters were truly remarkable:

• Lazar Darie - won first place in his weight category,
• Fana Mateia - 1st place
• Florean Alex - 1st place
• Velcev Alexandr - not only took first place in his category, but was also recognized as the holder of the most technical fight award, a testament to his impressive skills.
• Nicu Avram - climbed to the second step of the podium, bringing home the silver medal and proving that he is a formidable fighter.

Pro Team Cahul proudly showed that the Republic of Moldova has exceptional potential in freestyle wrestling and that their hard work and passion for the sport make them shine at the international level. These impressive results are a testament to their commitment and dedication to representing their country proudly on the global sporting stage.
