Bratu Tudor, one of the most talented athletes from Cahul, demonstrated his excellence in the European Weightlifting Championship among SENIORS, a crucial event for qualifying for the Olympic Games in Paris 2024. Within the limits of the category up to 102 kg, Tudor Bratu succeeded: In the first test, the deadlift, Tudor lifting a weight of 175 kg. In the second event, the throw, lifting 210 kg, thereby consolidating his leading position in the competition.

With a total of 385 kg, Tudor Bratu achieved a provisional ranking of 1st place in group B, demonstrating strength, concentration and impeccable techniques, he set his course for success.

This remarkable performance is proof of the commitment and dedication of Tudor Bratu and coach Andrei Reuțchi to weightlifting and to the proud representation of the city of Cahul in international competitions.
