Bratu Tudor, one of the most talented athletes from Cahul, demonstrated his excellence at the European Weightlifting Championship among SENIORS, a crucial event for qualifying for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Being within the limits of the up to 102 kg category, Tudor Bratu succeeded: In the first event, the snatch, Tudor lifting a weight of 175 kg. In the second event, the clean and jerk, lifting 210 kg, thus consolidating his leading position in the competition.

With a total of 385 kg, Tudor Bratu achieved a provisional ranking of 1st place in group B, demonstrating strength, concentration and impeccable techniques, he set his course for success.

This remarkable performance is a testament to the commitment and dedication of Tudor Bratu and coach Andrei Reuțchi to weightlifting and to proudly representing the city of Cahul in international competitions. Congratulations, Tudor, on the extraordinary success and for bringing honor to our city!
