In the last weekend of February, the Specialized Weightlifting School in Cahul was the host of an exciting weightlifting competition.
The athletes from Cahul, Comrat and Nisporeni gathered to compete in the weightlifting event. The participants were awarded diplomas and medals, and these competitions were qualifying stages for the Moldova Weightlifting Championship for young people under the age of 15/17. Among the winners in Cahul were:
