Cahul Suffers First Defeat of the Current Season, but the Fighting Spirit Continues!
During the Moldovan Women's Volleyball Championship, League I, held on January 20, the team from Cahul faced a defeat against the team from Orhei, the final score being 3-0 in favor of the guests. The match took place in the gym of the Sports School No. 1 from Cahul. The team from Cahul, represented by the volleyball section of the Sports School No. 1 from Cahul, is the youngest participating team.
Although the team from Cahul gave its best on the field, the opposing team from Orhei obtained the 3 decisive points, with the sets: 26:24, 25:20 and 26:24.
The composition of the Cahul team, led by coach Aliona Hariton, includes Minjulina Anastasia, Camenschih Anastasia, Lazareva Anastasia, Stanciuc Anastasia, Ruseva Anastasia, Țurcanu Daria, Hariton Daria, Caraja Emilia, Dorosenco Arina, Dovbisenco Uliana, Ghimpu Maria, Bilici Ariana, Petrov Victoria and Boceva Nellya. Even though they suffered a defeat in this match, the Cahul team remains a respectable force in the competition, continuing to fight for future performances. They will definitely come back with determination and will in the next matches!
