The Specialized Weightlifting Sports School has confirmed its leading status over the years due to the numerous results obtained by its students at national championships and the most remarkable results at international level, thanks to:
Tudor Bratu - became the first Moldovan to win the gold medal at the World Youth Championship, Uzbekistan, 2021. He won three gold medals at the European Under 20 Championship in Albania in the 102 kg weight category.
Eugen Bratan - bronze medalist in the 94 kg class at the 2007 European Weightlifting Championships in Strasbourg, France. 10th place at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens and 13th place at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.
Alexandru Bratan - competed twice at the Summer Olympics: 2000 and 2004. But he became known for winning the silver medal in the men's heavyweight division (105 kg) at the 2005 World Weightlifting Championships.
