Craft fair in the municipality of Cahul
The municipality of Cahul hosted a colorful and traditional event on Flower Day, with a rich exhibition of authentic crafts.
More than 50 craftsmen from various regions of the country, such as Cahul, Gagauzia, Chisinau, Comrat and others, brought to Independence Square an astonishing variety of hand-made creations.
From handmade jewellery, scented candles and soaps, ingenious decorations and toys for the little ones, to traditional fabrics, shirts loaded with authentic symbols and colors, and useful household items such as dobes, wicker baskets and wooden tableware - every stall has was a true universe of local crafts and traditions. The mayor of Cahul, Mr. Nicolae Dandis, was present at the event and handed certificates of participation and messages of gratitude to the organizers and participants for the effort and creativity they showed in this craft fair.
