Yesterday, in honor of World Tourism Day, the Tourism Excellence Gala 2023, a landmark event in the Republic of Moldova, took place. On this occasion, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Moldova conferred a special distinction on the Cahul City Hall, in recognition of the significant cooperation between key institutions for the promotion of tourism and knowledge of the Cahul region.

The Mayor of Cahul, Nicolae Dandiș, received the diploma of appreciation on behalf of the community and expressed sincere gratitude for the effort made by his colleagues in this fruitful collaboration. In particular, he mentioned the significant contribution of two key members of the team: Nadejda Cudobețchi (Fazlî) - responsible for the visitcahul.md platform. Silvia Strelciuc - founder of the "Via Cahul" tourism cluster.

This event highlighted the importance of collaboration between local government, the private sector and the community in promoting tourism and developing the Cahul region as a premier tourist destination in the Republic of Moldova. Through the dedicated efforts of all involved, the city and the entire Cahul region continue to welcome visitors with open arms and offer unique experiences for all who visit.
