Between October 6-8, the young athletes from Cahul shone at the Polyvalent Hall in Călărași, Romania, during the Junior National Freestyle Wrestling Competition.

Our athletes demonstrated extraordinary skills and boundless determination in their competition. In the 9-10 year age category, Nicu Avram and Fana Matei won the top places, ending the competition with a glorious triumph.

These impressive victories not only bring recognition to Cahul's young athletes, but also to their coaches and parents who have invested time and resources to support them on their sporting journey.
