Today, January 27, women's football shone at the "Alba ca Zăpada" Football Tournament, the twelfth edition, held in the city of Taraclia. The girls' team of the "S. Rachmaninov" Gymnasium in the municipality of Cahul ranked 3rd in the competition of four female football teams.

The event, called "Alba ca Zăpada", represents a southern regional stage of the Republican Tour, held between January 27-28, 2024, in the city of Taraclia.

The teams participating in this regional stage are:
1. IP Gimnaziul "Delta" from the village of Tartaul, Cantemir district
2. IP LT "N. Tretiacov" from the municipality of Comrat
3. ȘS Comrat-FC Baghira, UTA Găgăuziya
4. IP Gimnaziul "M. Tanasoglo" from the village of Chirsova, UTA Găgăuziya
5. IP Gimnaziu-Grădiniță from Cahul, under the guidance of Păduraru Constantin
6. Sports School Taraclia
7. CF Fortuna-Femina from the village of Hanăseni, Cantemir district

The event was organized by the "SUD" Regional Development Office of the FMF, with the support of the Taraclia Regional Football Association and the Taraclia Sports School, and took place at the sports complex in Taraclia. Congratulations to the team from Cahul for the performance achieved and for the quality representation of our city in the competition!

The winning teams were awarded with diplomas and balls, thus recognizing the efforts and involvement of each participant in the competition.
