Today, January 27, women's football shone at the "Snow White" Football Tournament, the 12th edition, held in the city of Taraclia. The girls' team of the "S. Rakhmaninov" Gymnasium in Cahul municipality ranked 3rd in the competition of four women's football teams.

The event, called "Alba ca Zăpada", represents a southern regional stage of the Republican Tournament, held between January 27-28, 2024, in the city of Taraclia.

The teams participating in this regional stage are:
1. IP Gymnasium “Delta” from Tartaul village, Cantemir district
2. IP LT "N. Tretiacov" from Comrat municipality
3. ȘS Comrat-FC Baghira, ATU Gagauzia
4. IP Gymnasium "M. Tanasoglo" from Chirsova village, ATU Gagauzia
5. IP Gymnasium-Kindergarten "S. Rakhmaninov" from Cahul, under the guidance of coach Păduraru Constantin
6. Taraclia Sports School
7. CF Fortuna-Femina from Hanăseni village, Cantemir district

The event was organized by the Regional Development Office "SUD" of FMF, with the support of the Taraclia District Football Association and the Taraclia Sports School, and took place at the sports complex in Taraclia. Congratulations to the team from Cahul for the achieved performance and for the quality representation of our city in the competition!

The winning teams were awarded with diplomas and balls, thus recognizing the efforts and involvement of each participant in the competition.
