The wrestler Ecaterina Păduraru won the bronze medal at the ITF European Taekwon-do Championship, which took place in Cluj. She stood out in the senior sparring event, weight category +75 kg. Ecaterina is also a silver medalist at the 2016 World Cup and a bronze medalist at the 2022 European Cup. At the European Championships in Cluj, the top 10 also included: Valeriu Tolstogan, Elena Rîbakov, Mihail Condrațchi, Iaroslav Neicovcen, Vlad Malai, Vitalie Lemnaru (all – 5th place), Ivan Iliev (8th), Sergiu Păduraru and Marian Ghereg (both – 9th place).
