On June 1, Cahul municipality hosted several events dedicated to International Children's Day. The "Gr. Vieru" Central Park and Horelor Square were transformed into magical places, full of interactive and fun activities, organized by various local institutions and organizations, between 10:00 and 12:00.
Thus, the children had the opportunity to enjoy a variety of thematic glades:
- Face Painting: It was one of the main attractions, where children transformed their faces into brightly colored works of art.
- Coloring the proposed drawing:* Organized by the School of Fine Arts for children, this activity stimulated the creativity of the little artists.
- "Giving Color": The Municipal Youth Center brought a wave of energy and color, offering children painting materials and guidance.
- "City Perspective": The Cahul Youth Fund promoted creative visions of the city through various artistic activities.
- "Children's Library": The "Grigore Vieru" Children's Library organized a reading corner, where the little ones were encouraged to discover the magic of books.
- "KidsAcademy": The KidsAcademy Center offered interactive workshops, stimulating curiosity and learning through play.
- "VibeAcademy": The activities organized by the Vibe Academy Center brought a positive vibe and encouraged the active participation of children.
- "Childhood Garden": The Regional Community Development Center and the "Laolaltă" AO have created a natural and relaxing space for play and discovery.
- "Treasure Island": AO "Step by Step South Region" organized a treasure hunt adventure, capturing the children's imagination.
- "Informative Glade": AO "Mother's Voice" provided useful information and educational activities in an attractive way for children.
- "Children's Smiles": The Cahul Information Center and the National Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse promoted a safe and positive environment for children through games and activities.
- "Actors' Meadow": The Republican Musical-Dramatic Theater "BP Hasdeu" organized theatrical performances and acting workshops for the little ones.
- "On guard at the border": The Southern Regional Directorate of the Border Police and the Cahul Directorate of Exceptional Situations presented captivating equipment and demonstrations, offering children an introduction to the world of protection and security.
- The "Europe through the eyes of children" asphalt drawing contest organized by the INOTEK Foundation brought colors and smiles to the faces of children who illustrated their vision of Europe.
This special event was a success thanks to the collaboration between the Cahul City Hall and local institutions and organizations, demonstrating once again how important community involvement is in the harmonious development of children.
