Cahul, the city that vibrates with joy and vitality, witnessed an unforgettable day in honor of the youth. Cahul City Hall, together with the Municipal Youth Center, joined efforts to mark the International Youth Day in a special way.

With enthusiasm and dedication, the organizers have prepared a series of events aimed at bringing the city's youth together and creating an atmosphere full of good cheer and friendship.

In the heart of the city, the Central Park was the scene of fun activities organized by the Cahul Youth Fund. From purse making to engaging general culture questions and sports games like volleyball, badminton, chess and tennis, every moment brought smiles and energy to the young enthusiasts.

There was also the area dedicated to board games and the treat for nostalgics, with a retro-style photo area. With added excitement, young people were challenged to go through the 6 carefully prepared stations, with the chance to win fabulous surprises in the Raffle.

The festive and lively atmosphere also spread to Piața Horelor, where the event was officially opened with the greetings and congratulations of the mayor of Cahul, Mr. Nicolae Dandis. The pride and support for the younger generations was felt in every word spoken.

Moreover, the event also brought to the fore the recognition of the achievements of young people. The participants in the contests "The best student" and "The best student" of the municipality of Cahul, 7th Edition, 2023, were rewarded with the appreciation of the community and with special moments on this stage of excellence.

The evening ended on a special musical and artistic note, with a concert that brought together both young people and all those present in Horelor Square. Pasha Parfeni, the artist who represented the Republic of Moldova at Eurovision 2023, delighted the audience with his unique voice, and our much-loved artist from Cahul, Satoshi, brought a touch of authenticity, energy, warmth and a lot of movement to the rhythm of his music.

With the International Youth Day in Cahul, we demonstrated once again that the future is in our hands and that the enthusiasm and involvement of young people can change the world for the better. Let's always keep this energy alive and support each other in achieving our dreams and aspirations!
