Cahul, the city that vibrates with joy and vitality, witnessed an unforgettable day in honor of youth. The Cahul City Hall, together with the Municipal Youth Center, joined forces to mark International Youth Day in a special way.

With enthusiasm and dedication, the organizers prepared a series of events aimed at bringing together the city's young people and creating an atmosphere full of good cheer and friendship.

In the heart of the city, the Central Park was the scene of fun activities organized by the Cahul Youth Fund. From bag making to captivating general knowledge questions and sports games such as volleyball, badminton, chess and tennis, every moment brought smiles and energy to the enthusiastic young people.

There was no shortage of board games or pampering for the nostalgic, with a retro-style photo zone. With an added thrill, the young people were challenged to go through the 6 carefully prepared stations, having the chance to win fabulous surprises in the Raffle.

The festive and vibrant atmosphere spread to the Horelor Square, where the event was officially opened with the greetings and congratulations of the mayor of Cahul, Mr. Nicolae Dandiș. Pride and support for the younger generations were felt in every word spoken.

Moreover, the event also brought to the forefront the recognition of young people's performances. The participants in the "Best Student" and "Best Student" competitions of Cahul Municipality, 7th Edition, 2023, were rewarded with the appreciation of the community and special moments on this stage of excellence.

The evening ended on a special musical and artistic note, with a concert that brought together both the young and everyone present in Piața Horelor. Pasha Parfeni, the artist who represented the Republic of Moldova at Eurovision 2023, delighted the audience with his unique voice, and our beloved artist from Cahul, Satoshi, brought a touch of authenticity, energy, warmth and a lot of movement to the rhythm of his music.

With the International Youth Day in Cahul, we demonstrated once again that the future is in our hands and that the enthusiasm and involvement of young people can change the world for the better. Let us always keep this energy alive and support each other in achieving our dreams and aspirations!
