Today, December 16, Cahul was dressed in festive clothes with the inauguration of the Christmas tree in Independence Square. Twinkling lights and a joyful atmosphere created a perfect setting to celebrate the spirit of Christmas together.

The mayor of the municipality of Cahul, Mr. Nicolae Dandiș, greeted the present community and expressed his gratitude for the involvement of each resident in creating an atmosphere of celebration and joy, especially for the little ones.

With the lighting of the festive lights, Santa Claus and Fulguța took over the baton, delighting the audience with a charming story and carols by the ensemble "Altița" and the gang of haters of the "Masca" Theater Studio.

The event included the active participation of children, who recited poems and received gifts from Santa. In Independence Square, visitors had the opportunity to enjoy hot drinks, food and local products. Also, a play complex with a carousel, swings, slides and more brought fun for the little ones.
