The Palace of Culture in Cahul on the stage of the Câmpin Arts and Sports Festival
The collectives of the Palace of Culture in Cahul had the honor of taking part in a special event on September 9, when they performed the show "Seara Cahul" as part of the Câmpina Arts and Sports Festival, held in the municipality of Câmpina, Romania, between 1.09 - 1.10.2023.
Our show was a true oasis of cultural diversity, where art and talent shone in all their splendor. The audience was treated to memorable moments of folk music and dance, exceptional recitals, classical dances and majorettes.
Our collectives, led by the mayor of Cahul, Nicolae Dandiș, demonstrated once again that passion and devotion to art have no limits. Among the collectives that took part are: Theatrical Studio "Masca", Choreographic Studio "Majorette-Show" and the Ensembles "Bobocelul", "Nufărul", "Izvorașul", and "Altița".
This experience was possible thanks to the support provided by the Cahul City Hall and the Câmpina City Hall as a result of the collaboration and twinning between these two localities. The opportunity to promote the culture and beauty created by our collectives in an international context is priceless, and we are deeply grateful for this chance.
We also want to thank the organizers from the bottom of our hearts for their warm hospitality and for a unique trip to the "Iulia Hasdeu" Castle. This experience was not only cultural, but also an opportunity to strengthen the bonds between communities and share moments of joy and fulfillment.
