International Theater Festival for Children and Youth "Theatrical Spring", a triumph of art and creativity

On April 6, the Palace of Culture "N.Botgros" in Cahul hosted the first edition of the International Theater Festival for Children and Youth "Theatrical Spring". The event brought together 14 theater groups from the country and from Romania, bringing a total of 170 talented young artists to the stage.

Organized by the City Hall of Cahul in collaboration with the "N.Botgros" Palace of Culture from Cahul, CNCPPCI and the "BPHasdeu" Theater from Cahul, the festival had as its main purpose the promotion of theatrical art among young people and children, offering a platform of affirmation for the troupes of theater from the entire region.

"LICURICI" theater troupe - Moldova, Chisinau municipality
"GHIOCEIT" Theater Troupe for Children and Youth - Moldova, Hâncești town, Mingir commune
"Năzdrăvanii" theater troupe - Moldova, Chisinau municipality
"AMINTIRI" model theater - Moldova, Sângerei town, Pepeni village
"TRIUMF" art studio - Moldova, Chisinau municipality
PROMETEU Drama Theater" - Moldova, Soroca city
ArtExplorers School of Arts "Măgdăcești" - Moldova, Criuleni town, Măgdăcești village
The Small Band of the "George Enescu" Popular School of Arts Romania, Botoșani municipality
"NEGHI-ART" theater troupe - Romania, Bacău municipality

The Festival Gala represented the culminating moment of the event, offering the theater troupes participation diplomas and special trophies. The atmosphere was one of celebration and recognition of the talent and effort put in by the young artists and organizers to promote theater culture and art in our community. The International Theater Festival for Children and Youth "Theatrical Spring" will continue to be an important pillar in the cultural development of the municipality of Cahul and in cultivating the passion for theater among the younger generations. With each edition, the festival aims to bring the emotion and creativity of the theater to the fore, contributing to the formation and affirmation of the cultural future of our region.
