The Sports Club " RIBAKOV TEAM " was founded on July 12, 2016, president and founder Gheorghe Ribakov. It is a Martial Arts club that operates in two sports branches: Taekwon-Do ITF and WAKO Kickboxing. The club is a member of the relevant federations in the Republic of Moldova in both sports branches.
Currently, the club has 4 coaches who together train around 200 athletes, of which 100 athletes are from Cahul, aged between 4 and 55 years.
About the founder: Gheorghe Ribakov - WAKO Kickboxing World Cup Champion and ITF European Taekwon-Do Cup Champion, IV DAN black belt holder, International instructor and World A class referee. He started his coaching activity in October 2010 in the municipality of Cahul, and in July 2016 he founded the “RIBAKOV TEAM” Club, which was then called “ACTIV SPORT CLUB”.
