The Sports Club " RIBAKOV TEAM " was founded on July 12, 2016, president and founder Gheorghe Ribakov. It is a Martial Arts club that operates in two sports: Taekwon-Do ITF and WAKO Kickboxing. The club is a member of the professional federations in the Republic of Moldova in both sports branches.
Currently, the club has 4 coaches who together train around 200 athletes, 100 of whom are from Cahul aged between 4 and 55.
About the founder: Gheorghe Ribakov - WAKO Kickboxing World Cup Champion and European Taekwon-Do ITF Cup Champion, IV DAN black belt holder, International instructor and World A class referee. He started his coaching activity in October 2010 in the municipality of Cahul, and in July 2016 he founded the "RIBAKOV TEAM" Club, which then had the name "ACTIV SPORT CLUB".
