Palace of Culture – In 1966, a beautiful Palace of Culture with 1000 seats was put into use. The Palace of Culture is specific for its beautiful architecture with large Greek columns and unique paintings. 5 model artistic collectives operate here, including "Vatra Horelor", the famous dancers from Slobozia Mare, who have brought fame to the village Slobozia Mare and to the folk dance from the south in the country and abroad since the 1970s. Another male vocal collective "Mocănașii", who are included in the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage with their caroling in a male group
