    Short description

    The Văleni Museum of History and Ethnography opened its doors wide to the public on August 27, 2017 (Independence Day of the Republic of Moldova), when the Văleni Socio-Cultural Center (St. Hierarch Spiridon Orthodox Church and ValeniMuseum of History and Ethnography) was inaugurated.

    The museum contains up to 1000 pieces of clothing, furniture, documents, photographs, various tools. The purpose of the Museum of History and Ethnography is to preserve and valorize the historical, ethnographic and cultural heritage of the locality. Within the museum there is also a Carpet Weaving Workshop where local craftsmen pass on the craft of weaving carpets to the girls of Văleni.
