    Short description

    Historical monument inaugurated in 1967 next to the common grave of the soldiers of the Soviet army who died in August 1944. On the memorial plaque on which the names of Major MI Perevoznyi, Hero of the Soviet Union, Captain of the Guard VF Melnicov, Senior Lieutenant of the Guard VI Semionov are inlaid , to sergeant AE Paniușin and lower guard sergeant AP Roslic. On May 9, 2005, on the wall around the obelisk, three marble memorial plaques with the names of 230 Cahuleni fallen on the fronts of the Second World War were inaugurated. Also then, above the three commemorative plaques, the inscription "ETERNAL GLORY TO THE FALLEN HEROES", reduced today to "ETERNAL GLORY", was written. Next to the obelisk burns the eternal fire in memory of the fallen heroes for the liberation of the city.
