Short description
The Diocese of Southern Bessarabia is a diocese of the Romanian Orthodox Church, suffragan of the Metropolitanate of Bessarabia. It is considered the successor of the Diocese of Cetatea Albă and Ismail. It is headquartered in the city of Cantemir (Republic of Moldova) and is currently led by Bishop Veniamin Goreanu.
