Short description
The Bishopric of South Bessarabia is a diocese of the Romanian Orthodox Church, suffragan of the Metropolis of Bessarabia. It is considered the continuation of the Episcopate of Cetatea Albă and Ismail. It is based in the city of Cantemir (Republic of Moldova) and is currently led by Bishop Veniamin Goreanu.
