Bustul lui Alexandr Suvorov

The bust of Alexandr Suvorov (1730-1800), the fourth and last Russian Generalissimo, one of the few generals in history who never lost a battle, was placed in front of the Sports School for Juniors and Children, on December 18, 2005. On the pedestal, on the front side, are the explanations (in Romanian and Russian): "GENERALISIM / ALEXANDR SUVOROV / (1730 – 1800) / GREAT COMMANDER OF RUSSIAN ARMIES", and on the back, only in Romanian, "Installed on 18.XII.2005 / by the city hall / on the 170th anniversary / of the city of CAHUL".
