Short description
The bust of Alexander Suvorov (1730-1800), the fourth and last Russian Generalisim, one of the few generals in history who never lost a battle, was placed in front of the Sports School for Juniors and Children on December 18, 2005. On plinth , the front part, the explanations are given (in Romanian and Russian): "GENERALISIM / ALEXANDR SUVOROV / (1730 - 1800) / GREAT COMMANDER OF RUSSIAN ARMIES", and on the back, only in Romanian, "Installed on 18.XII .2005 / by the town hall / on the 170th anniversary / of the city of CAHUL".
