Eco-Village Văleni represents a local social business, focused on the development of rural, cultural, wine and ecotourism in the area.
We set out with a burning desire to create an objective of national and international interest – becoming, through our own example and the good practices implemented, a catalyst for rural development in the region.
Starting from the idea of a traditional museum, the complex later developed capacities for ecological accommodation (Pensiunea Casa Dorului), a rustic restaurant (Restaurantul Dor) and a small family winery (Corbu Winery) with the aim of offering well-coordinated tourist packages for to be able to host mixed groups of tourists, both foreign and local.
We also organize folk crafts fairs, becoming one of the few points in the Southern region where they can sell their products for a fair price to the foreign tourists we bring from cruise ships.
