"SPARTAN" Sports Club

The "SPARTAN" Sports Club is a fairly young club, but with many goals set for many years ahead. The idea to found the "SPARTAN" sports club has been around for a long time, but this fact was realized in 2014. The name of the club represents the athlete who practices Taekwon-Do and has Spartan qualities, which are: respect, sincerity, insistence, self-control and fearless spirit.

The club was founded by the current president Ivan Iliev.

The sports club "SPARTAN" enjoys the support of several people outside the club who have always supported the President of the club and appreciated and shared his values, which in turn will be passed on to the members of the club.

The purpose of founding this club was and is the development of the Taekwon-Do martial art, the promotion of a healthy lifestyle and the development of discipline among children.
The sports club "SPARTAN" is recognized by the high level of quality of the trainings carried out with the club's athletes. Proof of the quality training are the medals and diplomas that are obtained at various championships by the club's athletes. Currently, the Club holds over 1000 medals at national championships and several dozen medals at international championships and 2 gold medals at the 2013 Taekwon-Do World Championship, the gold, silver and bronze medals at the World Cup in 2016.

At the moment the club is active in Cahul and in several villages in Cahul r., but it is constantly growing and expanding. In total, the club has approximately 200 athletes who practice the martial art of Taekwon-Do.

The age of the club's athletes is between 5 and 50 years. All members enjoy quality training, exams, competitions, seminars, camps. The club has training groups for children from kindergarten, primary classes, as well as groups for ladies and young ladies, groups for men who are over 35 years old. The sports club "SPARTAN" is open to all those who want to know the martial art of Taekwon-Do
