Chess Center

The Cahul chess center was opened at the initiative of the renowned chess player Tudor Pascal and with the direct support of the mayor of Cahul, Nicolae Dandiș, in July 2016.

The Cahul Chess Center is the only institution in the province of Cahul where the art of chess is studied. The students of the chess center are always encouraged to participate in various regional, national and international tournaments.
