"Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu" State University, Cahul municipality

The State University "Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu" from Cahul is a public institution, founded on June 7, 1999, with the aim of training and providing the localities in the south of the Republic of Moldova with highly qualified personnel. Within the University, three faculties are active: the Faculty of Humanities and Pedagogical Sciences; Faculty of Law and Public Administration and Faculty of Economics, Engineering and Applied Sciences.

The "Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu" State University in Cahul consists of: 2 study blocks with 6 laboratories and 12 centers for scientific research, innovation and development, 10 multimedia rooms, the university library, the UN Documentation and Information Center, the Documentation Center of EU, NATO Documentation Point, Free Wi-Fi Orange zone, gym, 2 dormitories.

The university annually offers: numerous scholarships awarded by various institutions in the country and abroad, opportunities for academic mobility and participation in international scientific conferences. Many students are appreciated with diplomas and mentions in various competitions, which demonstrates the intellectual potential of the university. In the context of the modernization of the higher education system, the "Bogdan Petriceicu Hasdeu" State University is making efforts to implement in practice the provisions of the Bologna Process.
