The Iulia Hasdeu College in Cahul is considered the oldest pedagogical education institution in the republic. It was reorganized in 2003, based on the Pedagogical School "A. Macarenco" founded on May 8, 1945. In June 1992, the Normal School was formed, which in August 1996 became the College of Pedagogy and Arts "I. Hasdeu". Since 2003, being merged with the local Agricultural College, the Industrial - Pedagogical College opens. Starting with 2016 IP Colegiul Iulia Hasdeu from Cahul.
From its foundation until now, the institution has promoted and continues to promote a modern, open and flexible education, training the skills and competences of young specialists.
Currently, the 1332 students are studying the specialties: Administration of WEB Applications, Programming and Analysis of Program Products, Accounting, Ecology and Environmental Protection, Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, Social Assistance, including dual education.
Teaching staff and students are initiated in the development and implementation of educational projects with external partners, consequently the localities in the southern part of the country are provided with highly qualified staff.
