Cahul College of Medicine

The Cahul College of Medicine was founded by the order of the Ministry of Health Protection no. 513 of May 22, 1946, being the first School of Midwives and Midwives in the south of the country with a first-year contingent of 90 people. The College of Medicine in Cahul was accredited in 2005 by Decision of the Board of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Moldova no. 2.5.5 of March 10, 2005, the Accreditation Certificate series AC no. 0011 in specialty 1701 General medicine, full-time education, qualification "Medical assistant".

By 2006, the college had consolidated its teaching staff and technical-material base, the institution enjoying authority and recognition in the medical environment.
