Cahul College of Medicine

Cahul Medical College was founded by order of the Ministry of Health No. 513 of May 22, 1946, being the first School of Nurses and Midwives in the south of the country with a first-year contingent of 90 people. Cahul Medical College passed accreditation in 2005 by Decision of the Board of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Moldova No. 2.5.5 of March 10, 2005, the Accreditation Certificate series AC No. 0011 was issued for specialty 1701 General Medicine, full-time education, qualification "Medical Assistant".

By 2006, the college had consolidated its teaching staff and technical and material base, the institution enjoying authority and recognition in the medical environment.
