Dear sportsmen and lovers of movement, we invite you to join the free race "EU4Cahul Marathon - Run for YOUTHS" in the city of Cahul, which will take place on May 18. The event, now in its third edition, will have three running distances: 2 km, 5 km and 10 km.
The marathon is organized on the occasion of Europe Day in Moldova, within the "EU4Moldova: Key Regions" program, financed by the European Union and implemented by UNDP and UNICEF. The EU4Cahul Marathon was designed as an event that brings together different people - running professionals and amateurs, children, young people and adults, all who appreciate a healthy lifestyle and sports.
Start packets will be distributed prior to the start of the race. Places are limited, so please register as soon as possible. Assess your capabilities and choose the right distance - 2 km, 5 km or 10 km. At the finish, each participant will receive a medal of honor, and the best will receive trophies, diplomas and vouchers to a sports store!
Free transportation will be provided for the participants from Chisinau, which we will inform you about later on the event page.
EU4Cahul Marathon 2024 is organized by Cahul City Hall and UNICEF, with the support of the European Union within the "EU4Moldova: Key Regions" program.
